Knoxfield Tennis Club Head Tennis Coach Marcos Ahumada

Marcos is a Tennis Australia Professional Club Coach with more than 20 years experience and with a Deakin University Masters Degree in Sport Management.

Marcos began playing as junior in his native country of Chile where he gained a tennis scholarship entry at the University of Chile playing national and international level college tennis.

In the early 80’s he was selected as part of the Chile Davis Cup Team as a reserve player and training and hitting partner of the team.  Another highlight was working as a hitting partner during the Australian Open (1992 -1995) for Aranxa Sanchez–Vicario & Gabriela Sabatini.
